Build 02: AI automation for local service businesses
Build 02 is underway — AI automation for local service businesses. The target is the quiet revenue leak every owner knows and nobody has time to fix: the missed call, the follow-up that never happened, the job that got booked by whoever answered first.

A local service business — the kind that runs on jobs, not seats — lives and dies on responsiveness. When a pipe bursts or an AC unit quits, the customer calls three numbers and hires the first human who picks up and books them in.
The problem is that the owner is usually on a job when that call comes in. The phone rings out. The lead calls the next name on the list. The work that was theirs to win is gone before anyone even saw it.
Build 02 is being built to close that gap.
What we're building
AI automation that handles the parts of the business that don't scale with a single owner's hours:
- Catch every lead. Missed calls and after-hours inquiries get answered and captured instead of lost.
- Follow up automatically. The nudges and callbacks that owners mean to do and never get to, done consistently.
- Move jobs toward booked. Qualify, schedule, and get the work on the calendar without the owner stopping what they're doing.
The goal isn't to add another dashboard an owner has to log into. It's to quietly do the work in the background, so a missed call stops meaning a missed job.
If a process repeats, we automate it before we hire for it.
Why now
AI finally makes this reliable enough to trust with a real customer conversation — fast, natural, and available at 2 a.m. on a Sunday. The businesses that adopt it first will quietly take share from the ones still relying on catching the phone. We'd rather build the thing that helps them do it.
Where it stands
Build 02 is in progress, in front of early businesses, being shaped on what actually moves their numbers — booked jobs and retained customers. It stays classified in the particulars until it's ready to stand on its own. When it goes live, the email list hears first.
